Patio/Braai Agreement for Use

From the Knightsbridge Mansions Conduct Rules

 Residents of Knightsbridge and their guests may use and enjoy the patio and braai provided that: -

               (a)    No law, or Management Rule or Conduct Rule is contravened;       

   (b)    Such usage will be at your own risk;

   (c)     Such usage does not infringe unfairly upon the rights of other owners or occupiers;

               (d)    Such usage does not cause a nuisance to any other owner or  resident.

   (e)    Such usage does not interfere with an owner or resident engaged in the legitimate use of the patio; or make any disturbance or allow his children, guests, tenants or other person for whom he is responsible, to make any disturbance or noise which in the opinion of the Trustees in their sole and absolute discretion, would constitute an invasion of the right of privacy of the other occupiers of the building.

   (f)     There will be no breakage, damage nor dirtying of any part of the patio or furniture.

   (g)  The Braai/Weber will be left clean for other residents, all debris deposited in bins and tables wiped cleaned for others 

   (h)    Pets are not allowed in the patio area or on common property.

   (i)      Children under 12 must be under adult supervision at all times.

   (j)      Times for use: 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.

               (k)     The Directives imposed by the trustees are adhered to and they reserve the right of refusal.

            All persons enter the premises at their own risk.  The body corporate shall not be liable for any injury, loss or damage of any description that any person may sustain, physically or to his property directly or indirectly, in or about the common property, its amenities or in the individual sections or for any act done or for any neglect on the part of the body corporate or any of the body corporate’s employees, agents or contractors.
