The old Guard’s Station consisted of this broken plastic chair,
where the guard sat, unless it rained.
Anyone could roam the corridors during the day and little was done at
night to control access into the building since many unauthorised
people had entry buttons to the building.

The new Guard’s Station includes an Art Deco desk, a
concierge system to buzz people in and to communicate
with residents.
Note the addition of the Art Deco light
fixtures original to Knightsbridge, bought and donated by
Mr. Barick of Unit 503 and the Art Deco panel, "Welcome to
Knightsbridge Mansions.".
