In 2010, the lobby was upgraded by adding wallpaper
accents to compliment the floor boards that were built in two years
earlier to provide a break for the tile flooring. The Art Deco
fixtures, which were donated by a Trustee, are the original fixtures from
when the Knightsbridge was built. They had been taken down and were
in storage for years. |
Additionally, a new console table with a black marble top
was added last year to fit under the etched and tinted Art Deco mirror.
It adds a great back drop and the perfect place for flowers to greet
guests. The ceiling of the lobby was also redone in 2010 to reinforce it
and to provide down lights which add additional dramatic effect for the
evening hours. |
