The following changes have come about in the last ten
years. It has taken a great deal of work, time and effort, but all was
done without special levies, and with only moderate increases, to keep
pace with inflation.
Previously, Knightsbridge Mansions had:
• no interior
courtyard garden or fountain,
• very few exterior
plantings in the front garden, and no plantings along the side yard,
• spotty security at
best,
• no internal
intercom system to communicate with security guards or guests,
• a lift covered
with ugly carpet, a plastic floor and florescent lighting.
• corridors with
tubular, factory-like florescent lighting.
• light wells that
were unsightly and unsanitary.
• a seventy-year old
antiquated electrical system that was faulty and dangerous.
• plumbing issues
that wasted an inordinate amount of water for the building and were
damaging the common property, as well as creating damp issues.
• a “handyman” who
was supposed to clean, but who was hard to find.
• no real Conduct
Rules or control as to community obligations, leasing or refurbishing of
units.
• no newsletters or
regular communication with owners.

Knightsbridge and increased the value of your investment.
